Patrick Gregor Jr.

  • Patrick is a Co-Founder and Partner at Gregor & DeMonaco Construction Services.

    Before joining Gregor and DeMonaco, Patrick spent 20 years in the high-end residential construction industry, excelling in various roles throughout his career. He began as a carpenter framing houses, using his mechanical skills to master the art of home construction. Before long, he advanced to managing multiple multi-million dollar projects. His extensive building experience spans from basic home remodeling projects to large-scale, $40M+ complex new builds. Patrick's most recent role as a Partner at a high-end builder on the East End allowed him to build lasting relationships with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders. He is highly respected in the industry as a confident and knowledgeable leader committed to delivering top-quality projects.

    Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Dowling College. He resides in Westhampton with his wife and two children, with whom he enjoys traveling and engaging in adventurous outdoor activities. 

Michael DeMonaco

  • Michael is a Co-Founder and Partner at Gregor & DeMonaco Construction Services.

    Prior to Gregor and DeMonaco, Michael spent over 18 years in the heavy civil construction industry in various capacities. He has experience with estimating, project cost controls, field engineering, project supervision, project management, and executive-level operations management. His experience has enabled him to build strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

    Michael brings a stellar work ethic, attention to detail, and an affinity for good process that allow him to maintain a clear focus on the big picture while ensuring excellence in project delivery. Equally important to him is building a strong internal culture - he is passionate about growing the team dynamic, fostering collaboration, and creating an environment where new ideas are welcomed and explored. He thrives on continuous improvement and values the opportunity to implement fresh approaches that elevate both the work and the workplace. 

    Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Villanova University. He is an Eagle Scout, a licensed USCG Captain, and the Vice President of his beach community's Board of Directors. Michael resides in East Moriches with his wife and two children, with whom he enjoys sharing the summer season and all the outdoor activities and social fun the East End offers.

David Mariani 

  • David is a Senior Project Supervisor at Gregor & DeMonaco Construction Services.

    Throughout his eighteen-year career, David has successfully delivered a wide range of complex projects by leveraging his diverse background as a project supervisor, project manager, proposal manager, and design manager. At Gregor and DeMonaco, he is known for his exceptional problem solving abilities and hands on approach, consistently navigating technical challenges, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and developing thoughtful, efficient solutions that keep projects moving forward. His innate mechanical aptitude, combined with his education and deep field experience, allows him to analyze complex conditions and translate them into practical, buildable outcomes.

    David thrives on challenge and relishes the opportunity to solve intricate construction puzzles - a passion he developed at an early age while helping his father build houses. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Boston University and an MBA from NYU. Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his family and bringing his creative design ideas to life.

Eliza Brush 

  • Eliza is a Project Manager at Gregor & DeMonaco Construction Services.

    Prior to joining Gregor & DeMonaco, Eliza developed a strong background in project controls and cost management, supporting complex projects with multiple contracts and stakeholders. Highly detail-oriented and exceptionally organized, she brings a disciplined approach to planning and execution, consistently prioritizing client goals and delivering on expectations through clear communication and proactive coordination. In addition to her project responsibilities, Eliza plays a key role in supporting the firm’s marketing and branding efforts, working closely with photography and social media initiatives to help showcase the firm’s work and culture.

    Eliza holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Lehigh University. Outside of work, she enjoys practicing as a novice photographer, spending time outdoors skiing and surfing throughout the year, and having fun with friends and family.

Jessica Clendenin

  • Jessica is the Office Manager at Gregor & DeMonaco Construction Services.

    As Office Manager, Jessica supports day-to-day operations at Gregor DeMonaco Construction Services, ensuring efficiency across administrative functions and delivering a high level of service to both clients and team members.

    Prior to joining Gregor DeMonaco, Jessica spent over two decades in customer service and administration, where she developed a concierge-style approach to client care—anticipating needs, resolving challenges, and fostering lasting relationships. Her transition into the construction industry was driven by her experience overseeing the buildout of her previous employer’s office. Through that process, she discovered a passion for the complex, collaborative nature of construction and made the career shift with enthusiasm.

    Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Siena College. Outside of work, she enjoys going to the beach, reading, and spending quality time with her family.

Kevin Vander Schaaf 

  • Kevin is a Superintendent at Gregor & DeMonaco Construction Services.

    He holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Environmental Science from Northern Arizona University and has over 20 years of progressive construction experience as a skilled finish carpenter and site superintendent. Kevin spent 18 of those years in New York City, working on high-profile projects such as Yankee Stadium, the United Nations, Madison Square Garden, Lincoln Center, and Fordham Law School. He later expanded his expertise by managing high-end residential jobs on the East End of Long Island.

    Kevin's business acumen, adaptability, and easy-going temperament foster a positive, collaborative team environment, resulting in high-quality projects delivered on schedule and within budget. His consistent ability to gather and synthesize pertinent information from key stakeholders and prioritize deliverables has earned him respect and recognition in the industry as a sought-after site superintendent.

    Additionally, Kevin has served as a volunteer firefighter, catechist, and softball coach.

Nicolas Pelaez

  • Nicolas is an Assistant Project Manager at Gregor & DeMonaco Construction Services.

    With a passion for real estate and a keen eye for detail, he brings both technical expertise and a strong background in real estate development and construction management to the team. Over four years with a prominent real estate developer, he progressed from foreman to site supervisor, playing a key role in managing and overseeing multiple $15M+ projects throughout the East End of Long Island. His problem-solving abilities, project management skills, and commitment to quality have earned him recognition for driving project success and contributing to the company's growth.

    Nicolas takes a results-oriented approach to leadership, fostering collaboration and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. He is eager to continue leading high-impact projects that further elevate the company’s success in the real estate space.

    Outside of work, Nicolas enjoys spending time outdoors, being with family, and traveling.

Richard Brierley 

  • Rich is a Superintendent at Gregor & DeMonaco Construction Services.

    With over three decades of experience in carpentry, Rich has a deep-rooted understanding of all facets of the trade. In 2013, seeking greater responsibility while remaining closely connected to his craft, he transitioned from a master carpentry role to a supervisory position. Throughout his career, Rich has tackled large, intricate projects for clients with exceptionally high standards.

    Rich thrives on challenging assignments and takes pride in collaborating with subcontractors who share his dedication to excellence. He values partnerships with skilled architects to actualize their visions, consistently delivering top-quality results to homeowners. He lives by the motto: "There are two ways to do something, the right way and again."

    Rich earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science from Kean College. Beyond his professional endeavors, he has a robust history of community involvement, having coached youth sports. In his leisure time, Rich engages in Hardstyle Kettlebell training and competes year-round in Master's Level club rugby. He also relishes riding his two Harleys whenever the opportunity arises.

Sarah Schneider

  • Sarah is a Project Manager at Gregor & DeMonaco Construction Services.

    Sarah brings experience working on large, complex construction projects that require detailed planning, close coordination, and strong technical execution. With a background in field engineering and project controls, she has supported project teams through preconstruction, mobilization, and active construction phases. Sarah continues to play an integral role in supporting large scale projects at Gregor & DeMonaco; managing intricate scopes of work while monitoring commercial management to support project performance and cost control. In addition to her project responsibilities, Sarah also assists with branding and marketing efforts, contributing her technical insight and attention to detail.

    Sarah holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Hofstra University. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, traveling with friends, and baking sweet treats.

Stephen DeFlorio 

  • Stephen is a Project Manager at Gregor & DeMonaco Construction Services.

    With 14 years of experience in the real estate and high-rise construction industries, Stephen brings a diverse background as a broker, project manager, and project superintendent to the team. In his most recent role prior to joining Gregor and DeMonaco, he oversaw day-to-day operations on ground-up projects such as the OMA-designed Eagle + West Towers in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, and SL Green's 15 Beekman Street in Lower Manhattan. Additionally, Stephen is an active real estate investor.

    Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Business from Boston University and a Certificate in Construction Management from Columbia University. He resides in East Hampton and enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants, reading, and long runs.

Susan Booth

  • Susan is a Senior Project Manager at Gregor & DeMonaco Construction Services.

    Susan brings over two decades of experience in high-end residential construction, with a hands-on approach that bridges financial strategy, project execution, and thoughtful collaboration. As a Senior Project Manager, she oversees particularly complex custom single-family residences, coordinating across design, procurement, and field operations to bring each home to life.

    With a deep commitment to quality and a natural drive to mentor others, Susan is known for building strong, solutions-focused teams and fostering open, positive communication. Her leadership style reflects her dedication to growth—both in process and in people.

    What draws her to residential construction is the constant evolution: the innovation in materials, the challenge of every site, and the creativity of custom builds. She's as engaged in cost planning and value engineering as she is in the final finish details, always with an eye toward elevating the work.

    Originally from the Hamptons, Susan still calls the beach home. Outside of work, you’ll find her exploring local trails, art journaling, traveling with her family, or simply soaking in the coastal light that’s long inspired her.

Avier Rodriguez

  • Avier is a Project Foreman at Gregor & DeMonaco Construction Services.

    With over 13 years of experience in construction, Avier began his career in finish carpentry, where his attention to detail and dedication to the craft quickly distinguished him. Over the past recent years, he has served as a foreman on multi-million-dollar custom homes, guiding teams through complex builds and delivering exceptional results.

    Driven by pride in his work, Avier believes that every project should reflect care, precision, and authenticity. His hands-on approach and deep understanding of fine craftsmanship are evident in each space he helps bring to life.

    Outside of work, he enjoys playing soccer, traveling, and spending quality time with family.

Jake Bennett

  • Jake is an Assistant Project Supervisor at Gregor & DeMonaco Construction Services.

    With a BBA in Operations Management from Baruch College and a minor in Film, Jake brings a strong analytical foundation and a creative eye to every project. A Sag Harbor local, he has spent the past five years building custom homes across the East End, with an additional four years focused on historic residential renovations - some over a century old - deepening his technical knowledge and sharpening his attention to detail.

    Jake is committed to continually improving his work ethic, efficiency, and productivity. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active, playing basketball and softball in the summer, cooking, and spending time with his wife and their blue heeler.

Tyler Mancini

  • Tyler is an Assistant Project Supervisor at Gregor & DeMonaco Construction Services.

    With over 9 years of construction management experience, Tyler has progressed from an APM and survey assistant on a 36-story high rise in Dumbo, Brooklyn, to a project manager supervisor at a Marriott hotel build on E34 in Manhattan, to building large-scale townhome complexes in central Long Island. Tyler values learning at every stage of his career, both in at work and through external resources.

    Tyler enjoys challenging hikes, such as those in Yosemite, aiming to complete one a year, and visiting museums.

Ryan Couture

  • Ryan is a Project Foreman at Gregor & DeMonaco Construction Services.

    Ryan combines a background in fine arts, craftsmanship, and field leadership to deliver exceptional results. A lifelong East End native with deep family roots in Westhampton’s building community, he continues a generational tradition of construction with a modern, design-driven perspective.

    Before joining Gregor & DeMonaco, Ryan studied Fine Arts at the San Francisco Art Institute. For nearly a decade, he owned and operated a custom-build and renovation firm on the East End, managing high-end residential projects from concept through completion.

    Drawing on his EMT certification, Ryan approaches each project with composure, accountability, and a focus on safety and teamwork. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and finding new ways to build - whether it’s a home, a treehouse, or a lasting connection.

Frank Romeo

  • Frank is a Project Supervisor at Gregor & DeMonaco Construction Services.

    He began his career in the building materials business before transitioning into high-end residential construction management, where he has overseen both small and large scale renovations as well as ground-up new construction projects. Prior to joining GDCS, Frank worked with two established East End builders.

    Frank’s hands on experience, deep understanding of residential construction, and practical problem solving approach contribute to efficient project execution and strong collaboration with clients, designers, and trade partners. His ability to manage complex scopes while maintaining attention to detail has made him a trusted and valued member of the project team.

    Outside of work, Frank lives in Springs with his wife and two children. He is an active volunteer with the Springs Fire Department and enjoys traveling with his family, hunting, fishing, and skiing. He is also a die-hard New York Yankees and New York Giants fan.
